{Beauty – Hair} Pretty, Simple & Easy Hairstyles for People Who Can’t Do Anything With Their Hair

There are tons of tutorials out in the web for “simple”, “easy”, anyone can do hairstyles but ladies, they lie. Or maybe I’m just terrible at styling my hair. Well, yes, I am inept when it comes to doing anything with my hair other than putting it up in a ponytail.

In an effort to expand my hair repertoire I’ve scoured the web for pretty hair styles that are actually simple and easy, require very little to no skill, and no special tools, mostly elastics and bobby pins, while a few require a curling iron and hairspray.

These styles are also great for everyone who hit snooze one too many times and is in of a beautiful, yet quick style that doesn’t look like it took two minutes.

Before we get started let’s set ourselves up for success: check out my posts on how to get bobby pins to stay in place (my hair seems to repel those little suckers) Life Changing Bobby Pin Tips & Tricks (and something you’re probably doing wrong)

Texturizing sprays on a budget (because hair styles usually work best on the second day rather than freshly washed and sleek and slippery but my hair needs to be washed every other day. There is no second day for me, there’s clean and not clean).

All that said, if you’re like me and can barely braid your hair, give these tutorials a try. I’d love to see pictures and hear from you if you’ve tried one of these styles.
